The Duchess Cecilie of Mecklenburg was the last German Crown Princess and Crown Princess of Prussia. She and her fiancé, Wilhem, German Crown Prince, met at the wedding of Cecilie's brother in June of 1904. Cecilie was 17 and a tall (5'11") beauty. Wilhem was immediately entranced by her and the couple was engaged just months later, on September 4, 1904.
